This is her design studio website containing all her work. You can see looking at both how the references she posts on the blog is an important part of her creative process and often used in her work.
Buraco de Bala is a brazilian animation and design studio that used to have a static website and have just updated, not only its layout but also created a blog where they post they post what they are currently working on - including the sketches and process in their animation 'drawings', news and portfolio.
Another design studio Büro für Form from Germany. Their website takes on a traditional news format on their home. But as there is no images together with the actual news it feels, again, lacking information. The rest of the works have last been updated on 2007.
it's funny how blogging has affected the way I'm seeing websites. I have just come across aboud sodano's and a couple of other design studios websites (which I'll be posting soon) that doesn't have blogs or 'news' sections and it's hard to keep track of what's their new work or what they have been researching lately. Does the year/time a project was made matter to who is navigating looking for up-to-date work?
tomato's website/blog is an interesting case of how the blog format today is as important as the traditional website. once you enter their www address you'll find the screen divided into two: on the left side a list of all their projects, and on the right side their blog. it is not possible to separate one from the other. if you scroll down you'll find their latest entries with a title, date and the person that posted it. if you decide to navigate through the list of projects you are able to reorganize the list by date, name or category and all the works are showed in a drop down way.
pentagram's website is useful if you want to research their work by categories, but if you follow their blog it will keep you informed of all their new work.
proef is a 'eating' design studio in amsterdam who uses their blog as a 'news, section in their website as a way to keep the views up to date with their current projects and ideas.
